Sudanese president visits Manama

Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa on Sunday in Manama discussed with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir bilateral relations between the two countries.

Bahrain's news agency said the Bahraini Cabinet expressed in its weekly session held on Sunday its satisfaction over the results of official talks held by the Sudanese president in strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Sudan and Bahrain had signed on the first day of al-Bashir's visit to Manama cooperation agreements in economic areas.

Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir arrived in Manama on Saturday in an official visit which will last for three days, during which he holds talks with the ruler of Bahrain, Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa, dealing with bilateral relations and means of strengthening them in various areas especially economic and trade fields. Al-Bashir is expected to head for Yemen today.
