Al-Sharaa talks with Albright on peace negotiations

A telephone call was made on Sunday between Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa and US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Discussions dealt with results of the previous round of Israeli- Syrian peace talks in Shepherdstown and prospects of the Middle East peace process in light of evolutions and assessments which the sides concerned will reach before taking a decision on the date of the forthcoming round.
