Erekat: Abu Dis will not be an alternative capital to Jerusalem

Saeb Erekat, the top Palestinian negotiator, stated that he has not reached an agreement with Israeli negotiators to this moment as Erekat said he refused the Israeli proposal that Abu Dis become the permanent Palestinian capital. He said that Abu Dis is one of the local councils affiliated to Jerusalem, and it will not be an alternative to Jerusalem, adding that Jerusalem's status is known to everyone and that issues must not be mixed.
Erekat added that Jerusalem will remain Jerusalem, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967.
