Morocco participates in first Francophony women conference

A Moroccan delegation of officials, experts and non-governmental organizations will take part next February 4-5 in the first Francophony women conference, held by the inter-governmental Francophony agency and the Great Dukedom of Luxembourg.
Delegations of 51 member countries of the inter-governmental francophony agency will develop strategies to improve the status of women and adopt guidelines to promote women social progress, upgrade women's rights and propose concrete actions in priority areas of education and training.
Another goal of the conference is to create networks of partnership, information and exchange in the Francophony space which hosts a total population of 500 million persons and more than 25% of the United Nations member countries.
