Morocco, Education, 1/15/2000
King Mohammed VI, who was accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid, dedicated on Friday the new premises of the National Architecture School.
The king visited the school's new classrooms, computer labs, plastic arts workshops and the library completed last July.
The school is the only one in Morocco that trains specialists in the arts and techniques of architecture, construction and town planning.
Since it first opened in 1980, a total of 713 architects, including 40 foreigners, graduated from the school.
The new premises, extending over 2 hectares, were built at a total cost of $4.56 million (45.6 million DH).
