Eight foreign ministers to visit Cairo soon

Eight foreign ministers are to come to Cairo starting with Hubert Vedrine of France, who is to arrive in Cairo on January 16 to hold expanded talks on the policy horizons in the Egyptian - French strategic discussion, which is convened for the first time on level of the foreign ministers.

Then, the Portuguese foreign minister will visit on January 18 out of Portugal's importance as the head of the European Union in its current session and its responsibility for following up on preparations for the African - European summit scheduled to be held in April.

On January 19, UK Foreign Secretary Robin Cook will arrive in Cairo for a two-day visit.

Then, the foreign ministers of the Czech Republic and Malaysia will arrive on January 23 and 24, after which the foreign ministers of Romania, Benin and Switzerland will arrive during February.
