El-Azhar Sheikh receives Sri Lanka's new ambassador in Cairo

Mohammed Sayed Tantawi, El-Azhars' Sheikh, received yesterday Sri Lanka's new ambassador in Cairo.
Tantawi welcomed the ambassador, and assured him that Al-Azhar and Egypt welcome the ambassador and wish him a pleasant stay in his second country, Egypt, and that it will support him to serve the people of Sri Lanka.
Tantawi also said that El-Azhar always presents support to sons of the Islamic states, especially Sri Lanka which has an Azharic mission that teaches the people of Sri Lanka about Arab science and legislation.
