Phone calls between Gaddafi and Garang

A phone call was made yesterday between Colonel Moammar Gaddafi, leader of the Libyan revolution, and John Garang, leader of the Sudan People's Liberation Army. During the phone call, they emphasized that there is a great opportunity for achieving national reconciliation in Sudan and that all parties are ready to support Colonel Ghaddafi's efforts concerning this matter to stop the bleeding so that the Sudanese people will be able to establish their country and work with their African neighbors to achieve African unity to be able to confront the challenges of the new millennium.
