Cabinet reshuffle in Jordan

A royal decree was released in Amman on Thursday which appointed Fayez al-Tarawneh as a chairman for the Jordanian royal court in succession of Abdul Karim al-Kabareiti.
Another royal decree was enacted that appointed al-Kabareiti as a member of the Upper House (Majlis al-Ayan), as well as accepting the resignation of the king's advisor, Salah Abu Zeid from his post and the retirement of the king's military advisor, Lt. Gen. Abdul Hafez Mir'ee.
Another royal decree was enacted provided for the retirement of the advisor of prince Hassan Michael Hamarenah.
These new changes are in line with the announcement for a ministerial reshuffle in the government of al-Rawabdeh.
