Russia recommends its citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon

The Itar-Tass news agency stated on Wednesday that the Russian Foreign Ministry recommended that all its citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon. The Russian Foreign Ministry based its decisions on the "recent complications of the situation in Lebanon due to the revival of extremist forces and the danger resulting from that of the safety of the Russian citizens."
Ten days ago a Palestinian attacked the Russian embassy in Beirut in protest against the military campaign carried out against Muslim Chechnya.
