Presidents of Djibouti, Italy and Germany to meet Mubarak

Cairo will witness wide political activity during the coming week on the summit level.

President Mubarak will receive the presidents of Djibouti, Italy and Germany, who will officially visit Egypt, in addition to the visit of Pope John Paul II to Cairo.

The discussions will tackle many basic points to which Egypt pays special concern in the beginning the new year and the new millennium, like international and regional cooperation, as Egypt occupies a primary position due to its location and to its adherence to the importance of making a new formula for relations among the countries and political and economical groups to become more balanced and fair and to allow an increase in industrialized countries' investments in developing countries.
