Venezuelan president grateful to Morocco for assistance

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias said his country is grateful to Morocco for the solidarity and assistance extended to his country during the floods that hit his country.
Last December, Morocco sent emergency humanitarian assistance to Venezuela, hit by torrential rain and landslides that killed more than 20,000 persons.
The Venezuelan president, who received this week the credentials of Morocco's new ambassador, Brahim Houssein Moussa, said the two countries which are both experiencing peaceful changes are emerging economies and, therefore, ought to consolidate their economic, political and cultural cooperation.
