Resuming diplomatic relations between Algeria and France

Diplomatic relations between Algeria and France are to be resumed as some of the French consuls in Algeria will be opened in addition to the public consul in Algeria.
The relations between the two countries started to improve after the visit of French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine in July, as serious work started with the new Algerian government.
French and Algerian sources said relations between the two countries are going in the right direction toward a complete normalization.
