Fruit and vegetable associations postpone sit-in

Moroccan associations of fruit and vegetable producers and exporters "APEFEL" and "ASPEM" postponed the sit-in they meant to stage initially today in front of the European commission delegation in Rabat to protest the EU decision to require import certificates for Moroccan tomatoes.
The demo was delayed, at government's request, till dialogue fails, said a press release of the associations whose leaders meet this Wednesday with premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi and head of the EU mission in Morocco Lucio Guerrato. Agriculture minister Habib El Malki is expected Jan. 17 in Brussels.
