Syrian Christian and Jewish communities congratulate Mufti on the Eid

Religious delegations representing both the Christian communities in Syria and the Jewish community in Damascus have visited the Syrian Republic's Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Kiftaro, who is also the chairman of the higher al-Iftaa council.
They extended to Sheikh Kiftaro congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Talks during the two meetings held between Kiftaro and the representatives of the two communities dealt with the importance of deepening the spirit of fraternity, amity and coexistence among divine religions in Syria.
They expressed best wishes for maintaining a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
