48 hours before end of Algerian civil rapport law
Algeria, Politics, 1/11/2000
The end of the period of time of the civil rapport law, under which members of armed groups can surrender to the Algerian government, occupied the front pages in the Algerian newspapers issued yesterday in the Arabic and French languages.
The newspapers reported hours before the end of the validity of the civil rapport law that the armed elements are still coming from all over Algeria to surrender in time to benefit from the guarantees provided by the law.
In the same pretext, El Safaa newspaper quoted an informed source as saying that more than 700 members of the Islamic Salvation Army may surrender with their families within hours.
