Shas movement opposes withdrawal from the Golan

A questionnaire carried out by Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv and issued on Monday by the Israeli daily Maariv said that most voters from the Shas movement oppose withdrawal from the occupied Golan Heights for peace.
Israeli Radio indicated that what had been asked by Rabbi Obadia Youssef, the spiritual leader of the Shas movement on the voters of the movement concerning the referendum on withdrawal from the Golan for peace will not affect the voters of the movement.
The radio said that another referendum explained that there is no majority among the Israelis backs withdrawal from the Golan.
