Arab media officials to meet in Cairo

The Arab media standing committee holds its 65th session at the Cairo-based Arab League on January 17 in which information under-secretaries would take part.
League Assistant Secretary General for Media Affairs Ambassador Muhab Mugbel said a number of issues concerning joint Arab action would be discussed during the meeting, adding that the officials would also follow up implementation of resolutions adopted during the 32nd meeting of the Arab information ministerial council which was held last June.
Topics included in the agenda are topped by the highlighting of the dangers of Jewish immigration to occupied Palestine and Arab territories.
Mugbel said other topics included support of joint Arab action in solidarity with the people of south Lebanon.
