Concluding the rally of Paris - Dakar - Cairo in front of the pyramids

The Paris - Dakar rally will conclude on January 20 before the Giza pyramids which is extended for the first time to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the framework of Egypt's celebrations of the third millennium.
416 competitors from 31 countries from all over the world are participating in this rally as it passes through Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Libya and ends in Cairo.
Egyptian Tourism Minister Mamdouh El-Beltagi said 30 airplanes, among which are eight helicopters, were specified to follow up the different stages of the race, including two for TV stations and two for medical aid and that 81 TV channels are following the final stages of the race and broadcasted it to 160 countries.
