Egypt gets ready to host first economic forum for Comesa countries

The Egyptian Foreign Ministry is getting ready for the final preparations for receiving the first Comesa (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa) economic forum, which will be held in Cairo on February 28 - 29 under the auspice of President Hosni Mubarak.
Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs Ibrahim Ali Hassan said the forum includes symposia and workshops that will tackle 12 subjects in different economic fields like transportation, energy, bank services and tourism and that more than 1,000 economic and tourism personalities inside or outside Cairo were invited to participate in this forum.
