More killings reported in Algeria

The Algerian dailies issued on Sunday said that three persons were killed by the armed groups and another three wounded last Thursday and Friday by gunmen.

The Algerian daily Le Matin said that a twenty year old man was found slaughtered on Friday on a roadside.

Several Algerian dailies said that a guard was killed on Thursday during an attack by an armed group while he was in his Jib in Korso, near Boumerdes, 50 km east of the capital Algiers. A policeman was killed on Friday near Ain Defla to the west of the capital by the gunmen while another three were wounded as a result of a bomb-explosion in Win al-Sultan cemetery near Khamis Melyanah.

Meantime, three gunmen were killed on Thursday night in an ambush planted by Algerian security forces in Fleifla in the Chlef region, 200 km west of the capital.
