Singer Belkhayat carries on successful tour in Algeria

Moroccan singer Abdelhadi Belkhayat gave a concert Wednesday night at Bab El Oued in the capital after shows at Setif and Annaba before heading for Oran.
The Atlas Theatre was booked solid and fans went mad when Belkhayat, whose last appearance in Algeria dated back to 1993, sang his classics famed throughout the Arab world.
The Moroccan diva Latifa Raafat also recently gave a series of successful concerts in several Algerian cities at the invitation of the Algerian culture and information office.
