Ebeid's government and new program

In an exclusive interview with Al Mussawar Magazine Editor-in-Chief, the Prime Minister Atef Ebeid said that the new Cabinet members have got a number of priorities to be implemented over the coming period starting from Feb., 2000.
Ebeid affirmed that these procedures address all walks of life, handle their problems and set programs and solutions for them.
Ebeid unleashed a string of practical measures and decisions that would immediately resolve the problems irritating many social categories as follows:
-Appointing the newly graduates.
-Training courses for young laborers.
-Extension of health care umbrella for the governmental employees to cover all their family members.
-Granting more than one million family access to a monthly pension.
-Drawing out radical and permanent solutions for all the victims of the money-investment companies to enable them to get 10% of their deposits on March 1, 2000.
-Creating job opportunities for about 650,000 over the year 2000.
-Setting a host of administrative procedures and mechanisms that would provide better treatment from the bureaucratic system to the public.
-Identifying the strategies of the national work over the next stage together with the rules and commitments to be undertaken by every sector.
-Protecting the Egyptian consumer particularly within the framework of a free economy which should be a bless not a curse for him.
-Improving the employee's conditions by granting him financial and training bonus that would further encourage him to carry out his duty in an efficient way.
-Expanding the production bases and building new projects to create more jobs for resolving the unemployment problem.
-Building up a modern state based on science and refined educated type of people.
-Urging cashing on the foreign relations to serve the economic development strategy to be afoot with the political relations President Mubarak has forged with the outside world.
-Turning the investment of the country's natural resources into a source of national income.
-Creating of new cadres of professional leaders and the promotion of the executive apparatus in order to be always able to produce efficient leadership.
