Japan - GCC trade down
Gulf-Japan, Economics, 1/7/2000
Japan's trade with the Gulf Cooperation Council member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) fell during the first half of 1999 to $13.76 billion, down $2.35 billion compared to the same period in 1998, according to figures from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Gulf News reported.
