Qatari emir receives al-Sahaf

Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Thursday received Iraqi Foreign Minister Muhammad Said al-Sahaf, currently visiting Doha.
The Qatar News Agency said that during the meeting talks dealt with means of reactivating bilateral relations between Iraq and Qatar as well as international developments, especially in the Arab arena.
Al-Sahaf's visit to Doha comes in the course of a diplomatic campaign carried out by by Baghdad to explain its position in confronting UN Security Council resolution 1284 on dismantling Iraqi weapons.
