Turkey, France welcome the resumption of Syrian-Israeli negotiations

The deputy spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Sarmad Atajuli, on Wednesday said that Turkey has backed the Middle East peace process since the very beginning of its launch.
In statements he made to reporters in Ankara, Atajuli on Wednesday added that if Syria and Israel reach an agreement, a durable peace will be achieved and stability in the region will be reflected positively in Turkey. The deputy spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry asserted that the realization of stability in the Middle East will be useful for all the countries in the region.
Meanwhile, French Foreign Minister Hubert Vedrine on Wednesday welcomed the resumption of peace talks on the Syrian - Israeli track in the USA.
Spokesman for the French government said at the conclusion of a meeting of the French Cabinet that Vedrine said the current circumstances are suitable for reaching an agreement under the auspices of the American diplomacy.
