Ruler of Bahrain arrives in Doha today

A statement released by the Bahraini Emir's court on Wednesday said that Bahraini Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Issa al-Khaleifa will arrive in Doha today at the invitation of Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani.

The statement explained that talks between the two sides will deal with "means of strengthening bilateral relations and means of backing the march of the GCC march."

This visit is the first for a Bahraini emir to Qatar in many years, and it is expected that the two states will take practical steps toward implementing what had been agreed upon in the Bahrain- Qatari summit held in Manama several days ago.

A statement issued by the prince Diwan in Bahrain said that 'Sheik Hamad discussed with prince of Qatar horizons of cooperation and the bilateral relations as well as the status in the Gulf.

Qatari sources said the "the approach between the two countries will end the borders dispute between the two countries which will be for the good of the Arab and Islamic world."
