Iraqi deputy premier heads for Beijing

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz on Wednesday left Iraq for Beijing on a visit which will last for several days aimed at developing bilateral relations between Iraq and China.
Iraqi official sources said that Aziz, who will visit Malaysia after China will hold talks with Chinese leaders on bilateral relations and means of developing them.
Aziz's visit to Beijing marks the beginning of an Arab and international diplomatic campaign aimed at mobilizing opinions against UN Security Council resolution, 1284 which was strongly criticized by Iraq, but without refusing it.
