Gulf Air avoids Y2K problems

Gulf Air said its operations took place as usual successfully and without any obstacles over the start of the year 2000, adding in a statement yesterday that all its airplanes, data systems and computer programs passed the beginning of the new year without Y2K problems, giving credit to its investments in developing new technology.
