Message from Iranian president to King Abdullah

King Abdullah of Jordan on Tuesday received a message from Iranian President Muhammad Khatami, who presides over the current session of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, dealing with means of backing cooperation among the Islamic states.
A Jordanian official source said that the Iranian ambassador in Amman, Nasratullah Tajik, delivered the message during his meeting in Amman on Tuesday with King Abdullah.
The source stated that the message concentrated on means of backing cooperation among the Islamic states in all areas, especially in the field of developing trade and investment among the member states in the Organization of the Islamic Conference to achieve economic development among the Muslim peoples.
