Israeli-Syrian work teams meet

Israeli Radio said on Tuesday that the Syrian-Israeli work team for negotiations held on Tuesday the first round of negotiations on security arrangements and normalization, and the meeting was chaired by the Maj. Gen. Shlomo Benai on the Israeli side and Youssef Shakkour on the Syrian side.
The radio added that negotiations on other issues will be held later this week and next week.
It indicated that there is no committee for normalization of relations and the nature of peace in the Syrian side.
