Tunisia enters the year 2000 without problems

A Tunisian official statement said that all the computer systems overcame their problems to pass into the year 2000 and that they are currently working in a normal way.
A statement issued by the ministry of state for scientific research and technology said that 20 hours after the beginning of the new year Tunis completely made sure that no problems can occur, as no disconnection was registered in the electricity sector. No disorder was reported in passing into the year 2000 in wire and wireless communications or water distribution networks.
