Exhibition of Quranic manuscripts opens at National Museum of Pakistan

A unique exhibition of precious Quranic manuscripts opened at the National Museum of Pakistan here on Sunday, the Pakistani news agency APP reported.
Over 400 manuscripts of Holy Quran, many as old as 10th century are on display at the exhibition as well at the renovated Quran Gallery.
More than 50 manuscripts on display at the exhibition are such which are not available in any other museum or library around the world.
The Director of the Museum, Asma Ibrahim said on the occasion the collection of Quranic manuscripts at this museum is the biggest ever collection.
