Somalia: Humanitarian organization's engineer killed

A source at the Care International humanitarian organization said that an engineer working in this organization, Saheib Muhammad Hussein, was killed by armed Somalis on Sunday, 30 km north of the capital while he was on his way to inspect a project in Jouhar.
Meanwhile, thieves have trapped a food caravan of 13 lorries for an international relief agency and wounded three of its guards.
In October last year, the World Food Program warned that attacks against food caravans will threaten the transfer of aid to needy societies.
Since 1991 Somalia has been under the control of tribes after toppling the government of dictator Muhammad Seyad Berri.
