Cairo invites Damascus Declaration FM s for meeting

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa said on Monday in Cairo that he will invite the foreign ministers of the Damascus Declaration signatory states (the GCC member states, Syria and Egypt) to hold their meeting in Cairo in March. In a statement, the Egyptian foreign minister added that the importance of the meeting stems from the need to strengthen cooperation among the declaration's signatory states.
In answering a journalist concerning the importance of convening this meeting, Moussa said it is time to revive this assembly and tackle the reasons for its solidification.
