Saudi Defense Minister sends message to Iranian counterpart

Iranian Defense Minister Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani received a message on Sunday in Tehran from his Saudi counterpart, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz. The message extended an invitation for the Iranian Defense Minister to visit Saudi Arabia.
The invitation was extended by the Saudi ambassador to Iran, Suleiman al-Jash.
The Iranian Defense Minister welcomed the invitation and asserted that he will visit Saudi Arabia very soon. He stated that relations between Iran and the Gulf states have achieved important steps.
The Iranian minister added that consolidating comprehensive cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia contributes to strengthening security and peace in the region and the Islamic world.
